When Jesus talked about money which by the way he talked more about than any other topic He would always address the heart of giving, give and it will be given to you, it is more blessed to give than to receive. As a matter of fact in the entire bible there are over 2000 verses about giving and money more than any other topic. It's not taboo in the bible and it shouldn't be taboo in the church or in your life.
You need to give! Not because the church needs your money no more than that because you need to give so you can experience the opportunities that come with being generous. In other words our need to be givers is more imperative than the need of anyone to receive from us.
