We can put up with a-lot, trials, challenges, hard times, criticism, all of it can roll off our backs like water off a ducks back but take away our hope and we become weak, brittle, and wither away in hopelessness. Having no hope is like handing superman a handful of kryptonite, it brings us to our knees. Thanks be to God because He alone is the author and source of all hope and He alone can ignite the spark of hope in any hopeless place, and by His grace and love for you He will give you all hope in all things. As the apostle Paul says, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
