When you’re check engine light comes on its telling you something in internally wrong. It's telling you there's a problem, but the problem is not the light itself, the problem goes much deeper. For many people there giving check engine light has been on for quite some time and they have ignored it continually and it has created an attitude problem when it comes to God, money, and the church. The problem is not with the check engine light, the problem goes much deeper, to the heart that has become built up with the muck of greed and pride and no longer pumps to the beat of generosity. This is like that check engine light that is saying everything is right or something is tragically wrong. The principle here is that God is trying to tell you that when you grow in your understanding and appreciation of me it will show up in your giving. When you decrease in your understanding and appreciation of me it will show up in your giving.
