Accidents Happen
Download Sermon Audio Download Sermon Notes In the past Black Flags have not represented messages of good news and hope. They have brought messages of despair like there is a plague or death or pirates who want to pillage and murder for your belongings. In auto racing a black flag doesn't mean there's a pirate on the track or there's a plague in the Pit area but it does mean the worst kind of news for a race car driver. It means there's a problem on the track and you are the problem. The black flag is waved at an individual driver like the blue flag but unlike the blue flag obeying the black flag isn't optional the longer you ignore the black flag the worse the consequences are for a driver. Black flag moments don't mean you'll never race again and through God's grace you can overcome the accidents on the track of life and be a stronger and better racer when its time to get back on the track. Date: 10/01/17 Scripture: Genesis 4:3-15 and 1 John 1:9
