Have you ever worried about how something was going to turn out? I mean more than the cake in the oven or the steak on the grill, will my family be okay? Will my children be successful? Well if you’re like me maybe you’re so busy you don't have much time to be thinking about those things but it comes to mind from time to time, maybe while driving your car, or waiting on a child at school, watching them in a program or sporting event.
If given the time to really think this through on a grade scale how well do you think your family would be graded by God's standards of what it takes to have a healthy family? How well would the world grade you? Which is your family more inclined to be living by God's standards or worldly standards? How can I safeguard my family from the cultural tsunami that floods our world today?
The scripture verse of Romans 8:28 is a part of Paul's teaching about our future as the children of God, as a family of faith, as a believer. That future day where everything as Paul says in these words will get worked out and the end result is going to be fantastic, great, and awesome, better than we ever imagined and when we look back on it, it's going to far exceed any trials, sufferings, challenges, and hardships we faced. So don’t panic God’s got this, trust Him with your family and future.

“Nuclear Family”
Alarm clocks ring, our feet hit the floor,and it's off to the races. It’s crazy with family members often moving in different directions, going to different places, and needing different things. There are challenges to facein every moment and life can seem like it is spinning out of control. You might feel overwhelmed, lost, fearful, and unsure how to make this day good for your loved ones - not to mention yourself. Should you hit the panic button? Did you let God into your life or was he a task on the “to do list?” Did you take the time to rest at God’s feet and breathe?
Remember you are not alone in wanting the best for your family and yourself. Romans 8:28 says, “for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called to His purpose.”
When families trust God they realize:
God loves my family
God wants the best for them
God has a plan
God can work out any and all challenges so EVERYTHING'S GOOD!
Nuclear Family - /ˈnu•kli•ər ˈfæm•ə•li/ (noun)
- a couple and their dependent children, regarded as a basic social unit
Your family may look like the definition of a nuclear family or it may look different. You may have an extended family, a blended family, a single parent family, a childless family or maybe your family is none of those. Regardless of the family you have, your family may be hurting. Even in God’s Word families were often more complex than a nuclear family image would suggest. They struggled with dysfunction, the role each family member would have, strife, and conflict in the home, dealing with the perception of family favorites among other things.
