In the Bible, the world is described as a dark place, a place that is corrupted and evil and in need of saving. At Christmas, we celebrated the arrival of Jesus who is God Immanuel (God With Us) and we learned the value of how even one small light can shine in the darkness of this crooked and dark world. As Jesus lights up our lives we become a light that can then light up another life.
