Is the resurrection a cruel hoax leading us to believe in something that never happened?" Is the God of the universe creating the biggest hoax of all time and declaring, "April Fools?
When the light of this world shined into a cold dark tomb, death's door was broken down and we can walk through this door on the day of our departure with the assurance that because He lives I can face death and see a new beginning with Him in heaven. The stone was rolled away on the third day and nobody coming into that day was thinking that Jesus body was somehow going to come up missing or had been misplaced. But an angel of the lord proclaimed, "He is not here, he is risen!" The angel didn't proclaim He has been misplaced, or that He is missing, no He is risen.
