Most people think of prayer as a way of sending a quick note to God - like texting a friend. We ask for a favor, thank Him for our food, requests protection on a trip or overnight while we sleep. Most of us believe it is a one-way communication. But Jesus taught us that prayer is much more - it is an opportunity to commune with God, a two-way path where we can openly express our fears, sorrows, joys, gratitude, and more - and experience God’s love and grace flow back to us.
