It was a week of extreme contrasts. It started out with people praising Jesus, like he was the hometown hero and it ended with him in the middle of two thieves being crucified.
What went wrong? how could somebody enter into a city with such praise and hallelujah's and end up being arrested falsely accused, judged, beaten, and then suffer under the torture of professional killers and die one of the worst longest deaths known to mankind.
What went wrong? Well it's not what went wrong on that day, it's what went right on that day. As terrible as it was it was by God's out of this world love that even though this day ended with Jesus death on the cross it was all about what needed to happen for you and me in our own lives.
God through his only son sacrificed Jesus for our wrongs and in a monumental moment in history opened the door of the cross so that when we come to this door and walk through it by confessing with our mouths and believing in our hearts and can be forgiven and realize that Jesus took upon himself our death penalty.
