In our spiritual lives a Blue Flag moment is when God makes you aware of an opportunity to set aside your own concerns and interests and focus on another person's needs.
Jesus demonstrated a Blue Flag way of life for his followers and He equips us with the same passion and drive to make a difference in people's lives. Winning isn't first place its moving over to help others get into the race of faith.
A major part of life involves taking the Blue Flag moments and seeing them as opportunities not as a hindrance to your own race, but just like in racing, responding to this signal in life isn't mandatory, and it can be easily ignored.
